Devex Hosts AXA Philippines Seminar on CARI and Bonds

On September 5, 2025, Devex Incorporated welcomed AXA Philippines for an exclusive in-house seminar titled “Engineering and Construction Line of Business.” The session was led by Mr. Gibson Lapuz, Senior Manager, and Ms. Cristina Corpuz, Surety Manager of AXA Philippines.

The seminar was attended by Devex project managers, operations managers, engineers, and representatives from different internal departments. This marked the first orientation and training AXA conducted exclusively for Devex, a recognition of the company’s growing footprint in high-value, large-scale construction projects.

The primary objective was to educate Devex teams on how Contractors’ All Risk Insurance (CARI) and Bonds serve as essential safeguards for construction, ensuring both the company and its clients are well-protected against financial and operational risks.

Mr. Lapuz emphasized that construction is inherently unpredictable, with risks ranging from natural disasters to unforeseen accidents. Contractors’ All Risk Insurance (CARI) is designed to address these uncertainties.
