Devex Joins Inauguration of New NCRPO Regional Headquarters in Taguig

Devex Incorporated joined officials of the Philippine National Police for the blessing and inauguration of the new five-storey National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Headquarters Building at Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig City on August 7, 2026. Devex served as the general contractor for the project.
The inauguration ceremony was led by PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police, and NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN Anthony A. Aberin. NCRPO officials and personnel also attended the event.

The new headquarters provides facilities for NCRPO’s command, coordination, administrative, and other operational functions. It also offers a more functional working environment for personnel supporting police operations across Metro Manila.
One of the key engineering considerations during construction involved the building’s foundation. During excavation, the project team found that suitable bearing conditions were located deeper than initially anticipated.
Devex recommended continuing the excavation until a more competent bearing stratum was reached and adjusting the foundation dimensions based on actual site conditions. Following review and approval by the appropriate project representatives, Devex implemented the approved adjustments to provide adequate structural support and help control the risk of excessive settlement.
In an interview, Captain Reymar C. Tamayao, Chief of the Infrastructure Regional Engineering Unit of NCR, highlighted the completed facility’s overall design, aesthetic quality, and alignment with the standard specifications of the Philippine National Police.
