Inauguration of San Juan Government Center Held

The San Juan Government Center was inaugurated in a formal ceremonial event hosted by the San Juan City Government. In attendance were Mayor Francis Zamora and President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., along with key officials from national government agencies. This facility was built to consolidate essential public services under one roof, creating a more efficient system for San Juan residents and nearby communities.
Mayor Francis Zamora emphasized the significance of the new facility and expressed gratitude to the national government for supporting its establishment:
“This facility is envisioned to serve as a one-stop shop for national government agencies—enabling our constituents to access essential social services conveniently, right here at the heart of our city. The people of San Juan, as well as those from Metro Manila and nearby provinces, will benefit greatly from the services available in this hub.”

Devex served as the general contractor for the project as it completed the 5-storey government structure to help bring together local and national agencies in improving public access to essential services to San Juan City citizens.
“The Makabagong San Juan National Government Center stands as a symbol of accessible, efficient public service. As the general contractor, we are honored to have built a facility that reflects the city’s leadership and commitment to its people,” said Arch. Cris Casili, Assistant Project Manager from Devex Incorporated.
Coordination with multiple government agencies was a key factor in ensuring that the facility would meet the needs of the people. Devex implemented strict quality control during construction. The facility was built to accommodate high public foot traffic while remaining flexible to future service expansions.
The San Juan Government Center will be home to the Serbisyo Hub, a central full-service area where national agencies will operate their respective satellite offices. The public will have access to various services in a single location, including but not limited to:
- Application and renewal of government IDs
- Processing of benefits and legal documents
- Health, housing, and employment services
The event also coincided with the rollout of the eGovPH Super App, a digital platform developed by the national government allowing citizens to access government services online. This complements the physical presence of government agencies in the San Juan Government Center.
The San Juan Government Center will stand as a symbol of effective collaboration between the public and private sectors. Devex takes pride in contributing to a project that improves the way the government serves the community.
